<p>The University of Iowa Laundry Services is seeking a highly motivated person to work as a Motor Vehicle Operator II. The Laundry Services Motor Vehicle Operator II will be responsible for pick-up and delivery of items from Laundry Services to customers at the University of Iowa. Must have ability to meet and maintain University Driving Policy standards. </li></ul> <p>Special Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>A valid CDL driver's license is required, as well as an ability to meet University of Iowa Driving Policy. </li></ul> <p>Desirable Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Basic computer experience. </li><li>Good communication skills and experience working on a team. </li><li>Experience securing loads of cargo. </li><li>Experience working in a warehouse environment. </li><li>Experience using weight scales and communication devices, such as a radio. </li><li>Two years' experience driving a truck with 33,000 GVW. </li><li>Experience operating moving equipment such as two-wheel hand cart or multi-wheel dolly. </li></ul> <p>Position and Application Details:</p> <p>Job openings are posted for a minimum of 10 calendar days and may be removed from posting and filled any time after the original posting period has ended.</p> <p>Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any conviction history and will be subject to a criminal background check and driver's license verification.
