We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer across our products to join various development teams.</p> <p>This opportunity can be located in either our Hungerford or Belfast office.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Deal with multiple concurrent projects ensuring ownership and delivery. </li><li>Define development objectives and initiate action toward meeting them. </li><li>Ensure that all work is implemented to specification, on schedule, with good quality and within the effort estimated. </li><li>Ensure Klipboard programming standards, best practice and industry guidelines are adhered to </li><li>This role will involve development of applications, and delivering fixes for customers </li><li>Carry out programming tasks from specifications against specific project timescales </li><li>Conduct unit testing on own code </li><li>Submit code for peer review and make modifications in line with feedback received </li><li>Participate in peer review of code and specification, making suggestions to increase quality </li><li>Schedule own time to deliver against assigned priorities in line with agreed project timescales </li><li>Provide clear updates on progress against assigned tasks </li><li>Escalate problems and exceptions that need to be addressed in a timely manner, with suggested solutions and workarounds </li></ul> <p>Skills, Knowledge and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Commercial Programming experience </li><li>SQL database experience </li><li>C# programming skills </li><li>Experience in any of the following: ASP.NET, ReactJS, JavaScript, Typescript, Web API, Maui, ERP systems </li><li>Desirable to have experience with Azure </li><li>Clear communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Experience working to industry standard methodologies, tools and processes for software development </li><li>Knowledge of software project lifecycles </li><li>Knowledge of development tools and modern database technologies </li><li>Good general management skills in a fast-paced technical operation </li><li>Empathy with software QA and QC processes </li><li>Knowledge or experience developing ERP systems </li></ul> <p>Development Team</p> <ul> <li>Must work from the office within a multi-layered team </li><li>Have full access to development server and work with other team members on code merge </li><li>Assist QA staff members on testing and documentation </li><li>Assist support members with customer queries </li></ul> <p>Company Info</p> <p>You may also have seen from our recent posts that we are excited to begin sharing our new company name - Klipboard.
