<p>Job Title: QA Analyst I</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The QA Analyst will play a pivotal role in maintaining food safety and quality assurance systems and controls within the plant. This includes ensuring compliance with SQF, HACCP, FSMA, HARPC, process controls, and regulatory compliance.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with the Food Safety Manager to uphold food safety and quality assurance standards. </li><li>Participate in food safety and quality assurance systems such as SQF, HACCP, FSMA, and HARPC. </li><li>Ensure regulatory compliance through pH and water testing. </li><li>Utilize systems like TraceGains, SafeFood360, and SnapQC for QA testing. </li><li>Assist in reviewing labels to ensure accuracy and compliance. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in regulatory compliance and quality assurance procedures. </li><li>Experience with TraceGains and other food safety systems. </li><li>Strong written and communication skills. </li><li>Laboratory skills including pH and water testing. </li><li>Knowledge of SQF, FSMA, and food safety protocols. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in food science, nutrition, microbiology, biology, or related fields. </li><li>HACCP certification required. </li><li>PCQI certification preferred, with the opportunity to become certified while employed. </li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in the food industry, preferably in a bakery. </li><li>Familiarity with the Code of Federal Regulations (21 CFR Sections). </li><li>Experience with cloud-based food safety and quality management systems. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The position is based in a food manufacturing plant that offers a sensory-rich environment, reminiscent of a delightful bakery.
