For example: you will work three nights one week (Monday, Thursday, Friday) and four nights the next (Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday).</p> <p>On the weekends you're scheduled to work, you'll work three consecutive night shifts. On your off-weekend, you'll enjoy three nights off in a row.</p> <p>Shifts run from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for operating a variety of off road haul trucks and other equipment utilized in mining which could include scalers, loaders, skid loaders, etc. </li><li>Perform daily inspection of vehicle and work area as assigned </li><li>Observe visual and auditory signals during vehicle operation </li><li>Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment; clean equipment </li><li>Assist on plant maintenance and repairs as needed </li><li>Other mining related duties as required </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>High school Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required. </li><li>Minimum 1 year previous experience in a role with similar responsibilities </li><li>Bi-Lingual is a plus </li></ul> <p>Other Duties</p> <p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
