<p>Hemodialysis Technician - Noncertified - Hemodialysis (MR1616118100) Full Time</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <ul> <li>Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. </li><li>The Hemodialysis Technician works under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse to assist the nurse in meeting the patient's basic needs during dialysis. </li><li>Assists nurse in obtaining data for assessment as well as assisting the nurse to provide care. </li><li>Using service excellence standards, Checking and Monitoring Vitals every thirty minutes and addressing patient needs as they arise. </li><li>Fosters an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion, dignity and respect for all patients, </li><li>Utilizes appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patient and staff. </li><li>Support the smooth operation of the department by performing tasks associated with the Hemodialysis Unit organization and orderliness. </li><li>Assists in providing technical support for equipment and water system including collection of specimens and maintaining data </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule: Full Time</p> <p>Qualifications /Training:</p> <ul> <li>Hemodialysis Technician training. </li></ul> <p>Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:</p> <ul> <li>BLS </li><li>HS diploma preferred </li></ul> <p>Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses.
