This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering state-of-the-art radiation treatments in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.</p> <p>As a Staff Radiation Therapist, you will deliver safe and accurate radiation treatments as prescribed by our physicians, while providing patients with education, reassurance, and compassionate care. You will work closely with a collaborative team of Radiation Oncologists, RNs, therapists, and support staff who are committed to excellence in oncology care. Our department uses advanced treatment technology, including TrueBeam, VitalBeam, and IX machines, with all plans reviewed by physics to ensure quality and safety. On average, therapists see 24 to 32 patients per day, with treatments scheduled at approximately 15-minute intervals, allowing for meaningful patient interactions and continuity of care.</p> <p>ProHealth Care offers a welcoming, patient-focused environment where every employee plays an important role in the care of our community.</p> <p>What You Will Do:</p> <p>UW Health Cancer Center at ProHealth Care has a great opportunity for a full-time, benefit eligible Radiation Therapist. The Radiation Therapist will join a team of highly experienced and tenured therapists and work in a dynamic environment.</p> <p>The Staff Radiation Therapist assists in localizing tumors, participates in treatment planning and delivers high doses of ionizing radiation for therapeutic purposes under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist. Functions as a primary caregiver to patients and provides a link to other health care providers as needed.</p> <p>You Will Need:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Radiation Therapy, Radiography or related field.
