<p>Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will drive operational excellence and continuous improvement within the Business Unit by leading Daily Management Systems, improving equipment reliability, and advancing digital transformation initiatives. You will analyze performance data to prioritize improvements, lead structured problem solving and small projects, build employee technical capabilities, and collaborate across functions to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations.</p> <p>A Taste of Your Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Own Daily Management Systems for the Business Unit, including the creation, deployment, and sustainment of standards </li><li>Leverage technical knowledge of equipment functionality to improve the reliability of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems </li><li>Develop employee capabilities related to systems, standards, and technical understanding through coaching and hands-on support </li><li>Foster a culture of technological transformation through the use, adoption, and continuous improvement of digital tools </li><li>Analyze data across key performance indicators to identify, prioritize, and track improvement initiatives </li><li>Lead small groups in structured problem solving using standard methodologies </li><li>Manage small projects independently using approved Manufacturing Excellence tools and practices </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Operations, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Maintenance </li><li>Lead capital project initiatives for the Business Unit from scoping through execution </li><li>Provide direct oversight of assigned team members, administer discipline as needed, and ensure consistent application of policies and procedures </li><li>Perform other duties as required to support Business Unit objectives </li></ul> <p>Ingredients Required for Your Success</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering </li><li>Experience working in a manufacturing environment </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Power BI, Power Apps, Excel, and PowerPoint </li><li>Technical knowledge of manufacturing systems and industrial equipment </li><li>Demonstrated leadership, organization, and effective communication skills </li><li>Relocation assistance is available for this position. Preference will be given to local candidates. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <p>More information about essential tasks and the facility will be shared during the hiring process. This role may require you to be in our manufacturing facilities. When visiting these sites, the physical requirements below may apply:</p> <p>You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination.</p> <p>You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size.</p> <p>This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.
