<p>Responsible for the processes involved in obtaining cash sales, credit sales, meal plans, and declining balances.  Responsible for upkeep and re-stocking of the galley during meal service.  Responsible to set, serve and clean-up catering functions as assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrates IWCC's core mission, vision and values </li><li>Cashier, FOH Duties, Caterings and other duties as assigned </li><li>Enforce guidelines, policies and procedures set forth by the Food Service Department </li><li>Practice superior customer service to all staff, faculty, students and guests of the college </li><li>Responsible for the process involved in obtaining cash sales, credit sales, meal plans, and declining balance </li><li>Responsible for the day-to-day operations in the Galley's FOH operations which include, but is not limited to:  restocking, cleaning, assisting the other cashier when needed, and making sure all customers have an excellent visit to our facility </li><li>Ensure that the proper measures of safety and sanitation are practiced </li><li>Responsible for communicating any suggestions, comments, complaints, and incidents that customers have expressed or experienced </li><li>Assisting with catered events </li><li>Organize event dates, delivery times, pickup times, etc. </li><li>Ensuring set-up, service and take-down of each event scheduled </li><li>Work in a professional manner with IWCC campus guests and clients to ensure a satisfactory guest experience in the galley and at catered events </li><li>Assisting with the enforcement of the meal plan rules and 3-strike policy </li><li>Regular, prompt & reliable attendance </li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned </li><li>Ability to pass a background check </li><li>High school diploma or GED, post-secondary education preferred </li><li>Enthusiastic and dedicated to the challenges of helping other people </li><li>Ability to function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, customer oriented team </li><li>Professional in communications, appearance, relationships, and responsiveness </li><li>Positive attitude </li><li>Heavy work (lift 30-50 lbs..) </li><li>The employee frequently is required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and use hands </li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear </li></ul>
