<p>Position Title: EHS Program Manager (Environmental, Health & Safety / ESG Leader)</p> <p>Location: Henrico, VA</p> <p>Clearance Requirements: None (Must be USC or Green Card Holder)</p> <p>Position Status: Full Time (Direct Hire)</p> <p>Position Description</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced EHS Program Manager to lead Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and ESG initiatives within a fast-growing electrical manufacturing and power distribution environment supporting critical infrastructure operations.</p> <p>This is a high-impact, onsite leadership role responsible for transforming established EHS policy into fully executed programs, systems, and measurable compliance results. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in OSHA compliance, environmental regulations, ISO 14001/45001 standards, and ESG reporting frameworks, along with a proven ability to build strong safety cultures in manufacturing settings.</p> <p>This position partners cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to embed safety, sustainability, and regulatory excellence into daily manufacturing operations.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead and own OSHA and environmental compliance across manufacturing operations</p> </li><li> <p>Develop, implement, and maintain an ISO 14001-aligned Environmental Management System (EMS)</p> </li><li> <p>Drive workplace safety programs, audits, risk assessments, training, and incident investigations</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure regulatory readiness and maintain inspection documentation (OSHA, EPA, RoHS/REACH)</p> </li><li> <p>Build and execute ESG and sustainability reporting strategies (GRI, SASB, CDP)</p> </li><li> <p>Track and analyze EHS performance metrics, KPIs, and sustainability data</p> </li><li> <p>Lead waste reduction, energy efficiency, and carbon/GHG reduction initiatives</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with Supply Chain on supplier sustainability, responsible sourcing, and conflict minerals compliance</p> </li><li> <p>Advise leadership on evolving regulatory, environmental, and ESG standards</p> </li><li> <p>Champion employee engagement and continuous improvement in safety and sustainability</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Skills/Education</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Sustainability, or related field (Master's preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>8+ years of EHS leadership experience in manufacturing, electrical equipment, or industrial environments</p> </li><li> <p>Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, ISO 14001 (ISO 45001 a plus)</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with RoHS/REACH compliance in manufacturing environments</p> </li><li> <p>Proven success developing and reporting ESG metrics and sustainability KPIs</p> </li><li> <p>Experience leading safety audits, compliance investigations, and corrective action programs</p> </li><li> <p>Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in EHS/ESG management systems or ERP platforms (e.g., Intelex, Enablon, NetSuite, or similar)</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Certifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>CSP (Certified Safety Professional)</p> </li><li> <p>CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager)</p> </li><li> <p>ISO 14001 Lead Auditor</p> </li><li> <p>ISSP Sustainability credentials</p> </li></ul> <p>Why This Role Stands Out</p> <ul> <li> <p>Strategic leadership role with executive visibility</p> </li><li> <p>Opportunity to build and operationalize EHS programs from the ground up</p> </li><li> <p>Direct impact on sustainability, ESG reporting, and regulatory excellence</p> </li><li> <p>Modern, high-quality manufacturing facility</p> </li><li> <p>Performance-based bonus opportunity</p> </li></ul> <p>If you are a proactive EHS leader who thrives in operational environments and is passionate about safety, sustainability, and compliance excellence, we encourage you to apply.</p> <p>About Seneca Resources</p> <p>At Seneca Resources, we are more than just a staffing and consulting firm-we are a trusted career partner.
