This means that applications are accepted even though there may not be a position currently available.</p> <ul> <li>Description </li><li>Benefits </li><li>Questions </li></ul> <p>Position Announcement</p> <p>The Department of English and Literature is seeking to hire part-time (adjunct) instructors to teach in-person and online first-year writing courses (English 1010 and 2010). Successful candidates will be able to: implement program goals as guided by common assignment sequences, texts, and objectives; prepare effective course plans; establish a supportive classroom environment; evaluate student learning using multiple means of assessment; support a student-centered approach to education; maintain and submit detailed student grade records. We are also interested in applicants with a willingness to discuss and/or use AI in an ethical and responsible manner with students.
