<p>Job Title: Surgical Technologist</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>As a Surgical Technologist, you will provide high-level customer service to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during procedures. You will assist with non-clinical patient positioning, maintain procedure rooms with appropriate supplies and equipment, and support the team by transporting necessary materials.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist with non-clinical patient positioning to support comfort and safety under the direction of licensed staff. </li><li>Ensure procedure rooms are stocked with appropriate supplies, instruments, and equipment prior to cases. </li><li>Verify equipment is present and alert leadership or licensed staff if equipment issues are identified. </li><li>Assist with room setup and turnover between procedures according to facility protocols. </li><li>Support the team by transporting supplies, equipment, and materials as needed. </li><li>Clean, organize, and prepare instruments and equipment for transport to sterilization, following ASC policies. </li><li>Assist with stocking and inventory of supplies in ORs, sterile storage, and related areas. </li><li>Communicate supply usage and inventory needs to Materials Management or leadership. </li><li>Follow all ASC safety, infection prevention, and waste-handling policies. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>1-2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist is required. </li><li>Completed training from a Surgical Technologist Program, either accredited or hospital-based. </li><li>Proficiency in sterilization, patient care, aseptic technique, and surgical instrumentation. </li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 3 months of employment. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Surgical Technologist license is highly preferred. </li><li>Certification from the Certification of Ophthalmic Assistants (COA) preferred. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The position is based at an ASC location in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This is a part-time position averaging 15-20 hours per week, with shifts scheduled Monday through Thursday. Shifts typically range from 6 to 10 hours, depending on the surgery schedule. Compensation varies based on certification status. The facility employs 20-30 individuals. The work environment offers competitive pay, no holiday work requirements, and the opportunity to pick up additional shifts if needed. Patient load is less than in hospital systems and no complicated surgeries are performed on-site.</p> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greeley, CO.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $25.37 - $32.22/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
