This role requires strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose network and system issues, perform basic integrations, and ensure systems operate reliably for our customers. Senior technicians also play an important role in supporting and mentoring junior technicians while sharing technical knowledge to help strengthen the capabilities of the team and branch.</p> <p>If you have experience installing alarm systems, security systems, running low voltage wiring, installing CCTV systems, or working in structured wiring or new construction environments - and enjoy mentoring other technicians or sharing your technical expertise - this role may be a strong fit for your background.</p> <p>If so, this may be a great career choice for you!</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Install and service residential and commercial security systems, including wired and wireless alarm systems </li><li>Troubleshoot system and network issues and perform basic system integration when needed </li><li>Run and terminate wiring in a concealed and professional manner </li><li>Configure system functionality and demonstrate system operation to customers </li><li>Maintain a safe and organized job site while completing installation work </li><li>Use troubleshooting and logic skills to resolve technical issues efficiently </li><li>Support and mentor entry-level and Level 1 technicians on job sites </li><li>Review work performed by junior technicians and provide guidance or correction when needed </li><li>Assist with training technicians on standard installation procedures and system packages </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education & Experience:</p> </li><li> <p>High School Diploma or equivalent.</p> </li><li> <p>3 - 5 years of industry experience - preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum of 2 years of life safety and home automation equipment experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Certification/License:</p> </li><li> <p>State licensing is required.</p> </li><li> <p>Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history.</p> </li><li> <p>ESA Certified Alarm Technician Level 2 or equivalent - preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>NICET Fire or Video Level 1 - preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Communication:</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to effectively communicate with various individuals professionally to provide superior customer service.</p> </li><li> <p>Technical:</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to understand the technical functionality of various systems learned online and/or via hands-on instruction.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to demonstrate proficient understanding of the hardware and panel writing of the required manufacturers.</p> </li></ul> <p>Pay Range: $25.72 - 41.15/hour. Actual compensation within this hourly range will be determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications for the role. This position is also eligible for participation in an annual bonus program.
