<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Drama/Musical Director ( 2 persons)</p> <p>Time Requirements: 6 days a week for 10-12 weeks</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Oversees WHS Theatre in all aspects </li><li>Directs one musical per year </li><li>Researches, reads, and selects scripts for productions </li><li>Manages the budget and marketing for the production </li><li>Recruits and oversees the Musical Assistant Director, Vocal Director, Technical Director, Choreographer, and Set Constructor </li><li>Designs the set and conveys the artistic vision to the Set Constructor </li><li>Creates the rehearsal and performance schedules </li><li>Applies for and maintains licensing and rights for all productions </li><li>Conducts auditions and casts shows </li><li>Actively seeks students to participate </li><li>Coaches students in their roles, providing feedback and direction </li><li>Selects costumes and wardrobe for the production </li><li>Fosters good relationships with the community </li><li>Proofreads all outgoing publicity/programs/posters </li><li>Serves as spokesperson for the program </li><li>Maintains Google Class and club website </li></ul> <p>All applicants must complete an electronic application via Applitrack: www.westbrookctschools.org.
