A forklift operator at UNFI is required to have a strong understanding of their lift, the pallets associate is carrying, productivity measures and safety procedures.</p> <p>Rate of Pay: Starting at $22.25/Hourly + Overnight/Productivity Incentives</p> <p>Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>Current available start time schedule 10PM + 5-day work schedule, DC closed on Saturdays. </li><li>Stand up reach truck experience required. Will be trained to use a high reach truck with a fork mounted camera. </li><li>Primarily works in temperatures below 0 degrees Fahrenheit. </li><li>Applicants must understand this position has the same lifting requirements as an order selector. Required to lift up to 100lbs. </li><li>Schedule depends on business needs. </li><li>Candidates who are applying to any of our full-time roles must be flexible to work any day during the week to be considered. Serious inquiries only. </li></ul> <p>Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:</p> <ul> <li>Reports to the receiving office at the beginning of each shift for the daily assignment, vehicle inspection sheet and replenishment discrepancies sheet. </li><li>Inspects assigned lift and completes vehicle inspection sheet. </li><li>Replenishes pick slots using the view request screen. If no requests exist, uses the manual replenish screen to fill empty or almost empty slots. </li><li>Maintains correct counts and logs any discrepancies in inventory. </li><li>Cuts and removes shrink wrap from all knockdowns. </li><li>Removes all empty pallets from pick locations and aisles.
