<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a Plant Accounting Manager in Pleasant Prairie, WI.</p> <p>Summary: The Plant Accounting Manager is a key member of the Company Finance team, responsible for overseeing all financial activities at the Davenport facility. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, effective cost control, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Operating within an SAP ERP environment, the Plant Accounting Manager partners with plant management to drive operational performance, cost efficiency, and profitability while providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary contact for all plant related accounting and financial reporting matters </li><li>Monitor and analyze variances in production, labor and overhead, recommend corrective actions as needed </li><li>Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations </li><li>Partner up with Plant Manager and operations leadership to develop and track operational KPIs </li><li>Act as a liaison between plant and corporate finance for OnBase, T&E, corporate card pro-gram and other initiatives </li><li>Support the preparation of the plant annual plan, CapEx, and variance analysis </li><li>Review actual performance against plan, identifying risks, opportunities, and recommending actions </li><li>Assist with the determination and completion of customer pricing forecast and true ups </li><li>Maintain and analyze standard costs for raw materials, packaging, labor, and overhead </li><li>Review and validate process order reporting, yield analysis, scrap, and rework costs </li><li>Ensure accurate valuation of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventories; Lead monthly cycle counts and annual physical inventory </li><li>Ensure timely and accurate posting of production orders, goods issues, and goods receipts </li><li>Evaluate cost-saving opportunities, process efficiencies, and continuous improvement project* Bachelor's degree in Finance or another related field required </li><li>5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing environment </li><li>Excellent knowledge of US GAAP </li><li>Hands on working knowledge of SAP required </li><li>Advanced excel skills and financial modeling capabilities </li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills </li><li>Food industry experience preferred </li><li>Manufacturing or meat industry experience is a plus </li></ul>
