<p>Kforce has a client seeking a Desktop Engineer in Horsham, PA.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Engineer, deploy, maintain, and support desktop, laptop, peripheral, and endpoint technologies in accordance with enterprise standards </li><li>Design and manage standard workstation builds using modern provisioning tools (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Autopilot) </li><li>Administer endpoint management platforms for device configuration, compliance enforcement, patching, and software distribution </li><li>Develop and maintain endpoint configuration, security, and compliance policies using MDM/MAM solutions </li><li>Coordinate workstation installations, moves, and hardware refreshes for new hires, office changes, and upgrades </li><li>Provide engineering-level support for Windows endpoints, troubleshooting complex OS, hardware, and application issues </li><li>Package, test, deploy, and maintain approved software, following change and compliance requirements </li><li>Configure, secure, and support corporate mobile devices, including enrollment and policy enforcement </li><li>Support remote and hybrid workforce environments, including secure home-worker configurations </li><li>Participate in vulnerability management activities, including patch compliance and remediation coordination </li><li>Monitor and remediate endpoint compliance posture, including encryption, antivirus/EDR, and configuration baselines </li><li>Maintain documentation, evidence, and controls required for audits and regulatory assessments </li><li>Follow established work order, change, and incident management procedures </li><li>Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support for endpoint issues and service requests </li><li>Maintain accurate endpoint documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides </li><li>Support asset inventory, lifecycle tracking, and equipment maintenance logs </li><li>Research and evaluate emerging endpoint, security, and compliance technologies </li><li>Collaborate with security, risk, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements </li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned* Preferred certifications: Microsoft, Intune, endpoint security, A+, or similar </li><li>2+ years of experience in desktop support or endpoint engineering </li><li>Strong knowledge of PC hardware, OS fundamentals, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management </li><li>Experience supporting and administering enterprise Windows desktop environments </li><li>Hands-on experience with modern endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune </li><li>Experience with automated or zero-touch deployment methodologies </li><li>Understanding of endpoint security and compliance policies </li><li>Familiarity with vulnerability management, patching, and compliance reporting </li><li>Experience with disk imaging and enterprise application deployment solutions </li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulated environment </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, including audit-quality documentation </li><li>Flexible schedule availability as needed </li></ul> <p>Physical & Additional Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Technical school training or equivalent experience; Certifications preferred </li><li>Ability to lift up to 70 lbs; bend, kneel, crouch, and climb as needed </li><li>Strong customer service orientation and organizational skills </li></ul>
