<p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Product Development Intern for the Home & Accessories team will assist with the development process from concept through production. This position will support Home and Accessories PD teams.</p> <p>Location: This position will be based out of our Corporate Headquarters in New York, NY.</p> <p>Salary: Compensation for this internship will be $25 per hour.</p> <p>Key Accountabilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manage all incoming samples from suppliers, ensuring all samples are labeled correctly. </li><li>Responsible for maintaining organized conference rooms & cabinets. </li><li>Coordinate samples to support internal teams: QA, Ecomm, Marketing, PR, and Senior Leadership. </li><li>Prepare samples for weekly meeting presentations, conferences and other business needs. </li><li>Manage Bi-yearly sample reconciliation for both PC & Stock samples with Inventory Control team. </li><li>Manage TPM Signoff Process - End to end ownership of systematic sign off for SKUs with cross functional teams to meet launch date. </li><li>Manage payment processing and database entry for samples, CER, & expense in COUPA. </li><li>Conduct trend research and competitive analysis to support design & merchandising. </li><li>Catalogue and maintain material standard swatches and vendor color cards, ensuring all samples are labelled and filed accurately. </li><li>Manage shipment of swatches to laboratories, vendors, and design teams. </li><li>Maintain sample closet inventory and organization, ensuring sample locations are accurately tracked. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program or a recent graduate in 2025 </li><li>A strong business acumen </li><li>Adaptability to new software and systems </li><li>Ability to react quickly based on business needs </li><li>Detail oriented with strong organizational skills </li><li>Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet shifting deadlines </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Positive, energetic attitude </li><li>Agile, flexible, and fluid mindset </li><li>Comfort working in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment </li></ul>
