<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Will perform a variety of clerical duties (answering phones, faxes, incoming mail) in support of the Wellspring/Radiology departments located at Upstate Community Hospital. Responsible for greeting patients upon their arrival for Radiology exams and ensures required paperwork for appointment is completed by patient prior to dispersal to appropriate staff. Ability to register and arrive incoming patients. At the Wellspring facility, the incumbent will be responsible for breast biopsy and additional view call backs, obtaining scripts and coordinating appointments. Will have a high responsibility of being HIPAA Compliant. Will act as a liaison for Radiology technologist, attendings/residents and nurses.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>High School Diploma. Some ICD-10 coding knowledge. Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities, have excellent communication and computer skills.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Ability to work independently, medical terminology, knowledge of hospital information systems (EPIC/PACS) and Microsoft Office preferred. 1-2 years college with emphasis on business or health related courses preferred.</p> <p>Work Days:</p> <p>Monday-Friday days.
