<p>Job Description</p> <p>Description</p> <p>SAIC is seeking Site Survey Leads to support the FAA Flight Data Input/Output (FDIO) Second Level Engineering organization. These positions are 100% remote when not traveling. Requires up to 75% travel within the United States.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities may include:</p> <ul> <li>Communicating with stakeholders to develop FDIO FDTS installation requirements. </li><li>Reading and modifying site drawings. </li><li>Identifying hardware and software needs. </li><li>Developing and presenting informational briefings to stakeholders. </li><li>Developing detailed engineering reports. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required Education & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in engineering or related field and 14+ years of experience. May accept additional experience or degrees. </li><li>Knowledge of air traffic operations and procedures in the en route and terminal domains. </li><li>Experience with cable paths and protocols (serial, Ethernet, Fiber). </li><li>Experience in integrating work efforts involving National Airspace System (NAS) decision support systems. </li><li>Experience providing support and communications at operational field facilities during site surveys. </li><li>Skilled in using MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills using both technical and user-friendly language, including the ability to summarize discussions and action items. </li><li>Possess a flexible personality, self-motivated and willingness to multi-task. </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team. </li><li>Excellent troubleshooting skills. </li></ul> <p>Required Clearance:</p> <ul> <li>US Citizenship. </li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Public Trust. </li></ul> <p>Overview</p> <p>SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.</p> <p>SAIC is a premier Fortune 500 mission integrator focused on advancing the power of technology and innovation to serve and protect our world.
