<p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Material Handler will perform all assembly with related finishing to customer specifications, help with the preparation and loading/unloading of steel parts from the paint-line, and assist with movement of material within the premises.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Commitment to workplace safety. </li><li>Prepare, set up, load fabricated materials onto the powder coat line. </li><li>Apply powder coating to fill any surface imperfections when parts are unloaded from the line. </li><li>Assemble light-gage fabricated materials using hand tools. </li><li>Assembly and related finishing of cabinets, based on production demand. </li><li>Utilize pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment to move material within the premises. </li><li>Provide error-free work to all internal and external customers as related to the output of their position. </li><li>Work under direct supervision. </li><li>Support the safety and quality programs by following all accompanying rules and established processes. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Shift</p> <p>1st Shift - Overtime opportunity on Friday's when applicable.</p> <ul> <li>Monday - 5:30AM to 4:00PM </li><li>Tuesday - 5:30AM to 4:00PM </li><li>Wednesday - 5:30AM to 4:00PM </li><li>Thursday - 5:30AM to 4:00PM </li><li>Friday - As Needed </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively throughout the course of a shift. </li><li>Ability to bend, stand, twist, and stoop for prolonged periods of time. </li><li>Ability to maintain coordination of hand and finger movements to grasp and manipulate objects with precision. </li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. </li><li>Subject to environmental conditions that occur within a fabrication shop condition including exposure to dirt, dust, noise, and vibration from use of equipment and the following: </li><li>Hazards: Variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals. </li><li>Atmospheric conditions: One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin-fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or poor ventilation. </li><li>Oils: There is air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Simple problem-solving skills. </li><li>Strong attention to detail. </li><li>Ability to use a variety of hand tools. </li><li>Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. </li><li>Ability to use measuring tools (preferred). </li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred). </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance </li><li>401k with Company Match </li><li>Paid Time Off </li><li>Paid Holidays </li><li>Company Paid Life Insurance </li><li>Company Paid Short-Term Disability </li><li>Company Paid Long-Term Disability </li><li>Tuition Reimbursement </li><li>Wellness Programs </li><li>Employee Assistance Program </li></ul> <p>About Us</p> <p>At O'Neal Manufacturing Services (OMS), we build things!
