At NMS, we expect our employees to fulfill that mission in every aspect of their work.</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>This position carries out those activities required to maintain and correct damage and make repairs to physical buildings, structures, and facilities. Additionally, this person will do a variety of work involving equipment use such as ladders and scissor lifts and will also be responsible for routine general repair work.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance tasks on commercial property. </li><li>Works daily with a computerized maintenance management system to enter, close and record work orders. </li><li>Monitors and escorts as necessary subcontractor personnel. </li><li>Replaces receptacles, lamps, ballasts etc. </li><li>Repairs and replaces sinks, toilets, faucets. </li><li>Troubleshoots, repairs pumps and motors. </li><li>Performs interior painting. </li><li>Modifies and repairs interior/exterior walls systems, roof systems, floorcoverings, windows and window coverings. </li><li>Repairs doors and hardware. </li><li>Performs minor locksmith duties as needed. </li><li>Cleans work area, tools, and equipment. </li><li>Regular day shift, M-F but position may involve emergency call out as needed basis. </li><li>Assist other maintenance technicians. </li><li>All other related duties as required. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>A high school education (or equivalent). </li><li>Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated building maintenance experience of commercial property. </li><li>A valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under NMS' vehicle insurance policy. </li><li>Ability to pass a background check to obtain SIDA clearance. </li><li>Must be able to make decisions in the moment with little to no supervision. </li><li>Contract requires employees to speak, understand, read and write English. </li><li>Must meet and adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations set forth by the company and client. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions and Physical Requirements</p> <p>Weather: Indoor/Outdoor. Hot, Wet, Humid.</p> <p>Noise level: Moderate to Loud</p> <p>Description of environment: This is a remote camp setting. Employees must constantly be able to stand, walk, climb, push, pull use hands and arms, stoop, kneel and crouch. Employees are occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and may be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.</p> <p>Physical requirements: Lift 50 lbs.
