<p>Apply</p> <p>Job Type</p> <p>Full-time</p> <p>Description</p> <p>THE IDEAL CANDIDATE NEED TO BE AN LPN OR A MEDICAL ASSISTANT</p> <p>Summary/Objective: Perform a variety of clinical and/or administrative task to help a dermatologist run their office</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Summons and prepares patient for office visit. </li><li>Assists Physician or PA with medical office procedures. </li><li>Administers medications, including injections, documents meds given or prescribed by ordering provider. </li><li>Administers dermatology and pathology biopsy procedures. </li><li>Assumes responsibility of maintaining current certification in CPR. </li><li>Accepts responsibility for reading and referencing new policy & procedures and newsletters. </li><li>Adheres to nursing policy and procedure when documenting in patient's record. </li><li>Attends support staff and department meetings to keep informed of employee issues and concerns as well as organizational updates. </li><li>Maintains confidentiality of clinic materials. </li><li>Provides and reinforces patient instruction and education as indicated. </li></ul> <p>Full time- M-TH 7:45-430; Fri 7:45-12</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>LPN Specialist requirements are:</p> <p>Required Education and Experience: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing. Must possess active Florida license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.</p> <p>Preferred Education and Experience: Experience or training in a medical health care facility as a Licensed Practical Nurse. 1 year experience in Dermatology.</p> <p>Medical Assistant Specialist Requirements are:</p> <p>Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year of Medical Assistant work experience within the last 2 years. Medical Assistant Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment. Current BLS certification or to be completed within first 90 days of employment</p> <p>Additional Qualification: 1 Year experience Dermatology.</p>
