You will be expected to acquire a comprehensive understanding of firm policies, standards, and procedures and translate their requirements into supporting materials tailored to the work of various firm audiences (e.g., visuals/graphics, checklists, newsletters, FAQs, requirements summaries). You will also support E&C colleagues in delivering targeted awareness sessions across our firm.</p> <p>To promote the continuous improvement of our program, you will help assess the effectiveness of these efforts and ensure we're incorporating lessons learned from real-world events and appropriately tailoring content to our audience.</p> <p>As a key member of the E&C Capabilities team, you will contribute as a thought partner within the broader E&C function, supporting organizational, operational, or strategic initiatives as needed. In this role you may be asked to provide surge support into other areas. You will also participate in regionally focused activities, such as advancing our integrity agenda in collaboration with regional E&C leaders, to raise awareness and strengthen the firm's E&C program in your region or location.</p> <p>You will be part of McKinsey's E&C function and will be based in North America. The E&C function's mission is to manage risks to our firm, our clients, and our people, while also enabling our firm's client impact and innovation. The E&C function is a globally integrated team within the second line of defense of our firm. McKinsey has an E&C program that is structured in a way that ensures that it is well designed, empowered to function effectively, and works in practice. Our E&C program includes a clear message that misconduct is not tolerated as well as policies, procedures, training, monitoring and consequence management to ensure the program is well-integrated into our firm's operations and workforce. You will be a member of the E&C Capabilities pillar, which drives cross-functional application and consistency of core E&C program activities, including firm governance, training and awareness, risk assessment, data insights, programmatic monitoring, and issue management.</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree(s) and/ or applicable professional certifications </li><li>5+ years of relevant professional experience in risk, ethics, and compliance; training and awareness; governance; or change management roles in a large organization </li><li>Ability to synthesize and prioritize complex topics and communicate with clarity to a range of audiences </li><li>Strong design skills and creativity, with experience in tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Captivate, and Adobe InDesign preferred (not required) </li><li>Entrepreneurial mindset to identify problems and see them through to resolution </li><li>Builds trust-based relationships with key leaders within and outside of the team; collaborates generously with others and is sought after as a key thought partner </li><li>Exhibits highest levels of discretion and judgment in safeguarding confidential materials </li><li>Fosters a collaborative, respectful, and inclusive environment for all colleagues </li><li>Strong analytical, issue-spotting, and problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to handle complex, sensitive issues </li><li>Comfort working in a fast-paced, changing environment and able to manage ambiguity with confidence </li><li>Outstanding English written and oral communication skills, including clear and concise writing and editorial skills and excellent listening skills </li></ul>
