<p>The first 3 letters in workplace safety are Y-O-U!</p> <p>TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate- Forklift in Olive Branch, MS at our Spare Parts Business Center</p> <p>This role is responsible for the workflows in the manual areas of receiving, picking, and packing/shipping. This position requires forklift, order picker, and reach truck skills as well as basic computer skills.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Accurately picks, packs, ships, and receives materials utilizing barcodes and RF scanner technology; all driven by software and computerized systems </li><li>Operate a reach truck, order picker as well as a standard forklift using the proper PPE and fall arrest equipment. Other equipment operation may be required. </li><li>Assembles kits for stocking purposes as required; this again requires barcoding and scanning with an attention to detail to avoid errors </li><li>Processes customer returns for restock </li><li>The receiving area requires palletizing and/or crating parts. Geo class knowledge is used to put away materials in a safe and organized manner. Some heavy lifting is involved. </li><li>Banding and shrink-wrapping material is required for storage and shipment process. </li><li>In the picking process individual labelling and scanning is required to disburse inventory correctly. </li><li>Safely loading and unloading trucks for delivery and pick up using all PPE and dock safety equipment. </li><li>Perform daily forklift check list and annual fall arrest equipment as required. </li><li>Maintains work areas in a clean and orderly fashion according to 6S standards; good housekeeping is paramount </li><li>Promote a safety conscience work environment as we work towards zero safety incidents </li><li>Ability to work together with all staff as a team. </li><li>Assist in cycle counting inventory. </li><li>Process, schedule and communicate LTL shipments and documentation to multiple carriers </li><li>Performs other job duties as may be assigned </li></ul>
