<p>Apply</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Reporting to: Parts Supervisor</p> <p>Travel Required: No</p> <p>Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.</p> <p>Positions Supervised: N/A</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Parts Associate I is primarily responsible for warehouse duties including shipping, receiving, stocking, and parts look-up. This position performs general warehouse duties, such as loading and unloading trucks, making deliveries, and housekeeping in the warehouse. The Parts Associate I works closely with Lift Power technicians and assists with other Parts Department duties as needed.</p> <p>Primary Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Load and unload trucks at the docks; assist in putting up parts stock orders. </li><li>Stage and process new tire pallets for pressing vendor - match hubs with new tires. </li><li>Check-in received parts and ship requested parts to the appropriate location. </li><li>Handle technician calls, walk-up inquiries, email requests, and inquiries. </li><li>Check all parts order packages for quantity and visual confirmation. </li><li>Properly handle vendor packing slips and PO receipts to ensure they are properly processed. </li><li>Locate and pull parts for service, shop, and parts orders; stage orders as needed. </li><li>Pull replenishment for consignment customers and technician vans and stage in lockers or for delivery. </li><li>Check-in cores and initiate returns to the correct vendor. </li><li>Handle all paperwork and process steps associated with shipping and receiving. </li><li>Keep the warehouse clean and organized. </li><li>Follow safety and warehouse policies and protocols; perform building inspection including checking fire extinguishers. </li><li>Observe all safety procedures including safe vehicle operation and proper disposal of hazardous waste. </li><li>Maintain inventory on stock associated with parts warehouse shipping and receiving. </li><li>Assist with inventories on vans, consignments, and annual branches. </li><li>As needed, assist with parts deliveries, customer assistance, and other Parts Department duties. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment :</p> <p>Normal office environment Warehouse environment</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Education and Experience Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma, or equivalent </li><li>Microsoft Office applications experience preferred. </li><li>Mechanical ability preferred. </li><li>Forklift experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Skills Required:</p> <ul> <li>Customer Service - able to provide a high level of service to customers, building relationships and acting as an internal company advocate. </li><li>Team Orientation & Interpersonal - ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with all levels within, and external to, the organization. </li><li>Communication - able to effectively express self verbally and in writing with co-workers, customers, vendors, and managers </li><li>Organization & Time Management - able to work independently with minimal supervision, planning, scheduling, and organizing schedule to complete actions within established deadlines. </li><li>Systems & Software - proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements: (N = not applicable; O = occasionally (.25-2.5hrs daily); F = frequently (2.5 -5.5hrs daily); C = constantly (5.5-8hrs daily))</p> <p>C Standing for extended periods</p> <p>F Reading</p> <p>C Walking</p> <p>F Speaking</p> <p>O Sitting for extended periods</p> <p>F Hearing</p> <p>F Manually manipulating</p> <p>F Writing</p> <p>F Grasping</p> <p>F Lifting/carrying 10 pounds or less</p> <p>F Reaching outward F Lifting/carrying 11-20 pounds</p> <p>F Reaching above shoulder F Lifting/carrying 21-50 pounds</p> <p>F Climbing O Lifting/carrying 51-100 pounds</p> <p>O Crawling O Lifting/carrying over 100 pounds</p> <p>F Squatting or kneeling O Pushing/pulling 12 pounds or less</p> <p>F Bending O Pushing/pulling 13-25 pounds</p> <p>O Repetitive motions O Pushing/pulling 26-40 pounds</p> <p>O Extended periods viewing electronic screens O Pushing/pulling 41-100 pounds</p> <p>O Driving</p>
