<p>Located at Miami Valley Hospital North (Englewood, OH)</p> <p>Full-Time Night Shift (10:30 pm - 7:00 am) With Weekend and Holiday Rotation</p> <p>Part-Time Night Shift (10:30 pm - 7:00 am) With Weekend and Holiday Rotation</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Phlebotomists/Processor collects, transports, and processes laboratory specimens.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures according to departmental procedures. </li><li>Accurately label and prepare specimens for testing or transport. </li><li>Complete requisitions and manage specimen receipt using computer systems. </li><li>Deliver specimens to testing areas. </li><li>Maintain equipment and assist with problem-solving related to patient draws and orders. </li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate standards, and departmental policies. </li><li>Conduct inventory checks, train new employees, and maintain a safe work environment. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Graduate or equivalent. </li><li>Some experience or training in phlebotomy or laboratory science is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Safety & Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to walk 5-7 miles daily and stand for entire shift. </li><li>Exposure to biohazard substances and hazardous chemicals. </li><li>Adherence to safety, ergonomic, and health policies. </li><li>Compliance with PPE requirements in lab or biohazard areas. </li><li>Completion of required safety training and health evaluations promptly. </li><li>Proactive approach to identifying and addressing safety hazards, promoting safety awareness. </li></ul>
