<p>The Material Handler facilitates timely and accurate shipment of products to customers. Also responsible for receipt of goods and products for warehousing or delivery to other departments within the company.</p> <p>Essential Functions and Main Duties</p> <ul> <li>Pulls/Audit material issues related to customer sales orders and/or Capital Equipment orders. </li><li>Ships product out in accordance with sales order requests, ensuring shipments are complete and correct. </li><li>Identifies, tracks and resolves inventory and shipping errors, problems or delays. </li><li>Processes materials received; checks, verifies and tags materials. </li><li>Checks receipts for proper quantities and item numbers. Rejects damaged goods and refers problems accordingly. </li><li>Enters receiving information into the computer and forwards necessary information to area personnel. </li><li>Process Product Returns. </li><li>Conduct Cycle Count Inventories of materials and finished goods. Ensures that all goods are appropriately packaged and labeled before storage. </li><li>Restocks shelves as needed. </li><li>Process receiving activities related to warranty repair RMAs, Customer Owned Equipment, and Mfg/Repair/Rework suppliers. </li><li>Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes. </li><li>Duties may be modified or assigned at any time based on business need. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education / Certification / Experience Required</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of experience in warehouse, inventory management and logistics </li><li>Shipping and receiving experience preferred </li><li>Federal Express and UPS experience preferred </li><li>Forklift certified preferred </li><li>Level and compensation depend on location, experience, education and skills </li></ul> <p>Competencies Required</p> <ul> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing, and to receive and understand verbal and written instructions in English. </li><li>Able to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <p>The anticipated hourly range for this position is $20.00 to $22.00.
