Whether through research and development, technology innovation or solution engineering, our team members play a vital role in connecting consumers with the products and platforms of tomorrow.</p> <p>Job Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Design and develop scalable API specifications using OpenAPI/YAML with enhanced data security </li><li>Create CI/CD pipelines for API build, deployment, and integration </li><li>Manage the full API lifecycle, from development to deployment </li><li>Collaborate with application teams to understand API requirements and needs </li><li>Ensure up-to-date API documentation and maintain design quality with proper security measures </li><li>Troubleshoot, resolve issues, and perform root cause analysis to prevent future production issues </li></ul> <p>Skills, Experience and Requirements</p> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field </li><li>5+ years of experience in development, and implementation of enterprise-wide solutions based on Java Technologies (Java, J2EE, Web Services, Spring, Spring Boot and Python) </li><li>At least 3 years of hands on experience with design, development and implementation of Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Integration based Microservices </li></ul> <p>Skills and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) and experience with version control tools like GitLab, along with CI/CD tools </li><li>Proficient with Swagger/Swagger Hub, API Gateway & Management tools such as Apigee </li><li>Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud products </li><li>Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills for interacting with global technical teams </li><li>Familiar with Agile methodologies (Kanban or SCRUM) and deploying microservices (spring-boot) on Docker/Kubernetes </li><li>Understanding of security protocols (OAuth, SAML) and experience with governance, event-driven architectures, and caching strategies </li></ul> <p>Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person on-site interview.</p> <p>Salary Ranges</p> <p>Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year</p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: DISH Benefits.</p> <p>The base pay range shown is a guideline.
