<p>To provide a clean comfortable, safe and attractive environment and to promote the mission of LCSD1.</p> <p>MUST BE A CURRENT STUDENT WITH LCSD1</p> <p>Salary Range: $13.00/hour</p> <p>BUILDING TO BE DETERMINED</p> <p>PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Participates in daily work schedule of building and grounds cleaning.</p> </li><li> <p>Washes windows and doors.</p> </li><li> <p>Cleans chalkboards and white boards.</p> </li><li> <p>Dust mops resilient floors</p> </li><li> <p>Vacuums carpets</p> </li><li> <p>Cleans furniture</p> </li><li> <p>Picks up trash, empties pencil sharpeners and trash receptacles.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with the moving of student furniture.</p> </li><li> <p>Dusts</p> </li><li> <p>Must wear appropriate clothing for the job, no sandals, tank tops etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> </li></ol> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Lifts and carries up to 25 lbs. with the aid of mechanical assistance.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work in a squatting, kneeling and standing position for an extended period of time.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to carry a backpack vacuum for three hours. (25 lbs)</p> </li><li> <p>Complies with all local, state and federal safety regulations.</p> </li></ol> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Must be fifteen (15) years of age.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to work independently.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to follow simple oral and written instructions.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to exercise care in the use of cleaning materials for different types of surfaces.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to recognize and report unsafe hazards.</p> </li></ol>
