<p>Job Title: Sales and Leasing Consultant</p> <p>Primary Function:</p> <p>Under the direction and supervision of the Sales Manager, this position is responsible for selling vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume and customer satisfaction standards, while taking advantage of a high-volume inventory and aggressive compensation structure designed to reward top performers. Performs all duties within the objectives, standards, and policies of Willis Automotive.</p> <p>Compensation & Performance Highlights:</p> <ul> <li>High performers have the ability to earn $200,000+ annually through an aggressive, performance-driven pay plan. </li><li>Aggressive commission structure designed to reward top producers and consistent performance. </li><li>Average Sales Consultant sells 12+ vehicles per month, with top performers exceeding that benchmark regularly. </li><li>600+ pre-owned vehicles in inventory, providing strong selection and high sales opportunity. </li><li>Ability to sell all brands, giving consultants flexibility to meet customer needs and maximize earning potential. </li></ul> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Understands that business is built on customer satisfaction; makes the commitment to always guarantee customer satisfaction. </li><li>Works as a member of a well-rehearsed team showing utmost attentiveness and respect to colleagues and guests alike. </li><li>Establishes personal sales and income goals that are consistent with dealership standards; develops strategies to ensure these are met consistently. </li><li>Greets all customers in a professional and timely manner; ability to work with a diverse group of people. </li><li>Determines customer needs by asking questions and listening. </li><li>Keeps abreast of inventory, features, accessories, etc. and how they benefit customers. </li><li>Prospects on a daily basis; maintains up-to-date information on prospects and customers in company database. </li><li>Maintains a dealership sanctioned follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business. </li><li>Demonstrates vehicles (includes test drives). </li><li>Coordinates the delivery process of sold vehicles to customers. </li><li>Understands the terminology of the automobile business/industry and keeps current with changes in products. </li><li>Understands the federal, state and local laws which govern retail auto sales. </li><li>Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and Saturdays. </li></ul> <p>What We Need From You:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. </li><li>Minimum of one year successful sales experience. </li><li>Strong ability and desire to perform in a high-volume, performance-based sales environment. </li><li>Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. </li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills. </li><li>Ability to work well in a team-based environment. </li></ul> <p>NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
