<p>About Our Job</p> <p>The Department of Safety, Community Corrections Division is seeking a Re-entry Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team.</p> <p>The Re-entry Quality Assurance Coordinator role is part of the Department of Safety's Community Corrections Division (CCD). CCD works to strengthen Denver's community corrections system by promoting safe, equitable, and client-focused approaches aimed at improving outcomes for clients. The division oversees a range of alternatives to incarceration, including pretrial services, in-home detention, and residential halfway house oversight. CCD is supported by a diverse and committed team dedicated to advancing public safety through collaboration with the community and partner criminal justice agencies.</p> <p>The Re-entry Quality Assurance Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring contracted facilities and programs adhere to regulatory and contractual compliance standards. This position involves both independent work and collaboration, with regular site visits to monitor compliance and engage directly with program participants to ensure service delivery. Ideal for someone passionate about supporting others, this role requires adaptability, strong customer service skills, and the ability to effectively serve team members, facility staff, participants, and the Community Corrections Board.</p> <p>Successful candidates must complete and pass a background investigation that encompasses the applicant's employment and criminal history.</p> <p>Office hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday with some flexibly. After the completion of a probationary period, a flexible start time and some hybrid work may be available.</p> <p>Primary Location: 303 W. Colfax Ave, Denver, CO 80204</p> <p>Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Adapt and contribute to the ongoing advancement of community corrections within Denver County.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee and manage contracts to ensure compliance with terms, including verification that contractors meet performance goals and submit all required reports and documentation.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct regular, ongoing site visits to contracted Denver Community Corrections facilities to monitor operations and assess service delivery.</p> </li><li> <p>Engage directly with residents and staff during site visits to confirm the effectiveness and consistency of program services.</p> </li><li> <p>Deliver training and educational support to enhance community corrections programs, including providing tailored technical assistance to address compliance and service quality issues.</p> </li><li> <p>Process resident referrals for review and consideration by the Denver Community Corrections Board.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct audits, quality assurance checks, and re-inspections to ensure community corrections programs comply with contractual requirements and regulatory standards.</p> </li></ul> <p>Our ideal candidate will have:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred, but not required.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrates adaptability in a dynamic work environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong attention to detail with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.</p> </li><li> <p>Background or experience in the criminal justice or human services field.</p> </li><li> <p>A collaborative team player committed to meeting deadlines and supporting shared goals.</p> </li><li> <p>A thorough understanding of the Division of Criminal Justice Community Corrections Standards, Standardized Offender Assessments-Revised, and Core Correctional Practices is highly desirable.</p> </li><li> <p>Certifications in community corrections specific trainings.</p> </li></ul> <p>Below are the minimum requirements used to determine eligibility for this position:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education requirement: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of administrative or technical support experience evaluating contracts for compliance with standards driven by some combination of service, performance, and financial criteria.</p> </li><li> <p>Education/Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of education may be substituted for each required year of experience.</p> </li><li> <p>License/Certifications: By position, requires a valid Driver's License at the time of application.</p> </li><li> <p>Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.</p> </li></ul> <p>About Everything Else</p> <p>Job Profile</p> <p>CA0752 Contract Compliance Coordinator</p> <p>To view the full job profile including position specifications, physical demands, and probationary period, click here.</p> <p>Position Type</p> <p>Unlimited</p> <p>Position Salary Range</p> <p>$27.24 - $42.22</p> <p>Starting Pay</p> <p>Based on experience and education</p> <p>Agency</p> <p>Department of Safety</p> <p>Redeployment during Citywide Emergencies</p> <p>City and County of Denver employees may be re-deployed to work in other capacities in their own agencies or in other city agencies to support core functions of the city during a citywide emergency declared by the Mayor.</p> <p>The City and County of Denver provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, genetic information, age, or any other status protected under federal, state, and/or local law.</p> <p>It is your right to access oral or written language assistance, sign language interpretation, real-time captioning via CART, or disability-related accommodations.
