<p>Overview</p> <p>The Central Sterile Tech is responsible for decontaminating, cleaning, processing and sterilization of supplies and equipment dispensed by the department following established infection control practices.</p> <p>SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION:</p> <p>This position is a designated as "Safety Sensitive Position" under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>PRE-HIRE QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Proof of high school or equivalent or higher education </li><li>CS experience preferred. </li><li>CRCST preferred, required to obtain 1 year after certification eligibility. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED PRIOR TO INDEPENCENCE FROM PRECEPTOR:</p> <ul> <li>Computer-Assisted Self-Directed New Employee Orientation </li><li>Successful completion of Meditech Information System Orientation </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED PRIOR TO COMPLETION OF ORIENTATION:</p> <ul> <li>Successful completion of orientation skills checklist </li><li>Attendance at New Employee Orientation classroom program </li></ul> <p>Other education and experience may be substituted (if applicable) for the required minimum job qualifications with the approval of the Corporate Director of Human Resources.</p>
