Other primary duties include:</p> <ul> <li>Perform patient transfusion testing and immunology problem work-ups. </li><li>Perform quality control testing, quality assurance activities, and donor quality assurance. </li><li>Assist patients with inquiries regarding test results. </li><li>Record and review test results for accuracy and completeness while maintaining lab records. </li></ul> <p>Note: This position follows a 4/10 alternating schedule, working four 10-hour shifts per week, with rotating holidays. The workdays alternate as follows:</p> <ul> <li>Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday </li><li>Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday </li><li>Shift Hours: 9:30 PM - 8:00 AM </li></ul> <p>Salary Range: $53.31 - $71.04/hour</p> <p>In addition to a competitive salary range, this position is also eligible for shift differentials.</p> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <p>Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility</p> <ul> <li>Current, valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Clinical Immunohematologist Scientist license. </li><li>Bachelor's degree. </li><li>Two years of recent clinical laboratory experience in a Blood Bank, preferred. </li><li>Experience with MTS gel methodology and solid phase testing, preferred. </li><li>Must pass the Ishihara Color Vision exam, i.e. visual acuity including color differentiation. </li><li>Ability to work an alternative schedule on occasion (e.g. Tuesday - Saturday, 11:00pm - 7:30am) based on operational needs. </li><li>Ability to work holidays. </li></ul> <p>As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts a conditional offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; received notice of any allegations or are currently the subject of any administrative or disciplinary proceedings involving misconduct; have left a position after receiving notice of allegations or while under investigation in an administrative or disciplinary proceeding involving misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of misconduct with a previous employer.</p>
