<p>Job Description</p> <p>Infosys Public Services is seeking a NextGen Workday Project Manager to join our Team.</p> <p>Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):</p> <p>The Project Manager will assist the client in managing the agency's transition from the Enterprise PeopleSoft system to the NexGen (Workday) application. The selected individual will coordinate agency-level project implementation activities with the Workday ERP service providers and the client Finance and Human Resource business units.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist the client's CFO and HR Director in planning, coordinating, and aligning agency ERP transition/rollout activities with the client's PeopleSoft/Workday transition project schedule. </li><li>Develop collaboration among the agency's Finance, HR, and Procurement subject matter experts. </li><li>Ensure the NextGen project activities are timely communicated to the appropriate agency stakeholders. </li><li>Lead/facilitate agency stakeholder meetings. </li><li>Monitor and track transition/rollout project performance and report status and pertinent issues to the agency leadership </li><li>Ensure stakeholders take necessary action to achieve the goals and objectives of the transition project. </li><li>Work with Workday PMO and the quality assurance team to extend the expected new Workday standards, procedures, and quality objectives at the agency level. </li><li>Ensure agency team members have the tools and training required to transition to Workday effectively. </li><li>Monitor milestones and critical dates to identify potential jeopardy to the agency transition schedule. </li><li>Identify ways to resolve scheduling issues and keep management aware of the situation. </li><li>Conduct formal testing reviews with business leaders to confirm acceptance and satisfaction. </li><li>Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with project sponsors, vendors, and key clients. </li></ul> <p>Required years of experience, training, technical skills, and other requirements for job performance:</p> <ul> <li>7+ years of IT project/program management or equivalent IT team leadership experience. </li><li>5 years of experience leading projects of high complexity (must have occurred in the last 2 years). </li><li>2+ years' direct experience with Workday (NextGen) rollouts </li><li>3+ years managing an enterprise NextGen Workday implementation </li><li>PMP certification from PMI or equivalent certification </li><li>Expert use of MS Project, MS Visio, SharePoint, MS Teams, and MS Office Business Suite </li><li>Experience working in state government </li><li>Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. </li></ul> <p>Educational Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>A bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent is required from an accredited institution. Will consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education. Candidates who have completed a Master's degree program are strongly preferred. </li></ul> <p>The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.</p>
