<p>How to Apply</p> <p>Please include a cover letter stating your level of tennis experience and if you have ever instructed tennis lessons at any level.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>We are looking for an individual to teach their own class and/or be a substitute instructor for some of our other classes during the spring/summer and fall terms. Our tennis classes are held at the U-M Varsity Tennis Center and Chippewa Tennis Club year-round. You would need transportation to get to both of these locations. You would be teaching 1-2 hours per week. To learn more about Kinesiology Community Programs (KCP) classes and to view our current schedule, visit our website: kines.umich.edu/KCP</p> <p>Responsibilities*</p> <ul> <li>Provide beginning and/or intermediate group lessons to adults. </li><li>Classes will have up to 12 adults at a time. </li><li>Monitor, demonstrate, and instruct students on proper techniques, tactics and strategies to improve their overall tennis game. </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications*</p> <p>Previous experience teaching tennis and/or competitive tennis experience.</p> <p>Modes of Work</p> <p>Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
