We are seeking a dedicated Evening Supervisor to join our team at UPMC Presbyterian/Montefiore. In this role, you will supervise and coordinate the activities of our Lead Persons, Floor & Project Technicians, and Housekeepers to ensure our premises are spotless and well-maintained.</p> <p>Shift Details:</p> <ul> <li>Sunday-Thursday- 10p-6:30am </li></ul> <p>If you have a keen eye for detail, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence, we want you on our team! Apply now to make a significant impact in our healthcare environment.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Complete discharges within one hour. </li><li>Attend all mandatory in-services. </li><li>Communicate daily with head nurses/unit clerks. </li><li>Meet all legitimate facility requests promptly. </li><li>Submit work orders for maintenance repairs. </li><li>Regularly check assigned areas and ensure compliance; reinforce behavior through praise or corrective action. </li><li>Ensure equipment is kept clean at all times, and in good running order. </li><li>Ensure sufficient supplies and equipment; properly label all chemicals and solutions. </li><li>Oversee Lead Housekeepers, Housekeepers, and Technicians; ensure adequate shift coverage. </li><li>Handle administrative tasks, employee documentation, and approve PTO within guidelines. </li><li>Carry and answer 24 hours pager. </li><li>Perform duties during disasters and drills, act as a liaison between shifts. </li><li>Complete a minimum of 5 inspections daily utilizing Pocket PC Technology. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li><li>HS Diploma/GED required </li><li>3 years of relevant experience required </li><li>1 year of relevant leadership experience required </li><li>Knowledge and familiarity with chemical use and dilution rates. </li><li>Basic computer knowledge to include familiarity with MS Office. </li></ul> <p>UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran</p>
