<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Part time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Rotating Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>The purpose of this position is to provide instruction for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provides teaching and guidance to students taking ACLS and/or PALS courses.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures classroom and supplies are prepared for class.</p> </li><li> <p>Follows teaching criteria outlined by the American Heart Association (AHA).</p> </li><li> <p>Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Certified ACLS and or PALS provider.</p> </li><li> <p>Current ACLS or PALS Instructor certifications or the ability to obtain with in 3 months of hire.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to teach at a minimum of 1 class per month.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to attend an annual, mandatory skills training/maintenance and sign-off session.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work evenings and weekends.</p> </li><li> <p>Previous teaching/training experience preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>Our Commitment</p> <p>Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
