<p>Minimum: USD $44,200.00/Yr.</p> <p>Maximum: USD $55,200.00/Yr.</p> <p>Market Type: Merchandising</p> <p>JOB OBJECTIVE</p> <p>The role is a hybrid position of Floor Planner and Layout Maintenance Specialist. The Floor Planner is responsible for ensuring delivery of floor plan and fixture development at store level in support of strategic, category and format initiatives. Manage all macro-space tools to ensure delivery and improvement of rule sets and guidelines, to develop and maintain the best floor plans for our stores that meet the needs of our consumers. Understands the strategies for each banner and influences the development of prototype fixture plans to ensure strategies are delivered upon and business objectives are met. Layout Maintenance Specialist maintains, protect, and improve macro-space tools database integrity. Create and manage the macro-space tools mapping hierarchy, maintaining multiple store layout folders and store maps, creating the system and structure to update and change store assortment and space allocation information as the changes are executed in the future. Works closely with Layout designers on new store/remodel schedule to ensure category initiatives are captured.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Supports sales and profit objectives of the client as it relates to developing, analyzing, and maintaining macro space rules and guidelines down to micro space management rules, guidelines and standards. </li><li>Develops effective fixture plans to support fresh and center store merchandising ensuring equality among all major departments for each banner. </li><li>Supports the development of all banners fixture plans, and the process required, assuring that local consumer needs are met, and plans are communicated through the organization appropriately. </li><li>Continually seeks out new and innovative cases, fixtures, and on shelf fixtures to further enhance our ability to deliver on the customer experience. </li><li>Provides effective communication to merchandising and retail leadership across all banners regarding fixture plan changes and merchandising plans on a timely basis. </li><li>Leverages technology and resources in the creation of floor and merchandising plans when they provide a competitive advantage or financial benefit. </li><li>Collaborates with the Manager of Retail Implementation and Managers of Planogram Development to measure and adjust processes that enhance our ability to react timely to change and provide effective communication across Merchandising. </li><li>Provides training for all macro space associates as well as strategic support for all associates on adapted corporate merchandising principles, practices, and systems. </li><li>Delivers and maintains store-specific merchandising plans that accurately meet the needs of our target consumer for that market in support of Non-Perishable and Fresh businesses. </li><li>Responsible for delivery and maintenance of accurate and growth-oriented floor plans, aligning space, fixtures and execution. </li><li>Maintain, protect, and improve macro-space tools database integrity. Create and manage the macro-space tools mapping hierarchy, maintaining multiple store layout folders and store maps, creating the system and structure to update and change store assortment and space allocation information as the changes are executed in the future. </li><li>Update selected maps for all Albertsons stores with space and schematic changes based on Consumer Demand direction and needs, ensuring store assortment and space changes flow to downstream systems in a timely and efficient manner. Adapt/interpret Consumer Demand direction to meet business goals based on individual store layouts and challenges. </li><li>Coordinate and utilize reporting tools and store feedback to identify data gaps and errors in the eMapping, gauging the level of data risk, and updating the system/information with an appropriate sense of urgency. </li><li>Ongoing review of store authorization reporting (unallocated), taking action as needed to monitor/correct schematic versioning and placement. </li><li>Provide direction and support to Division Space Planning for regional/partial map updates, management of future map updates, and facilitate store specific schematic requests/needs. </li><li>Provide direction to external vendor support on system updates and special projects. </li><li>Work closely with Layout Designers on new store/remodel schedule to ensure category initiatives are captured. </li></ul> <p>Performs other duties as required and assigned.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>2 years Store Stocking or reset team experience preferred </li><li>2 years store level or backstage store planning/space allocation a plus </li><li>Store level merchandising/retail experience preferred </li><li>Knowledge of category reset processes and procedures preferred </li><li>File maintenance experience a plus </li><li>Strong pc skills and working knowledge of Albertsons internal systems </li><li>Knowledge of CAD based software systems </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Team oriented with high organizational skills </li></ul> <p>Job Will Remain Open Until Filled</p>
