<p>The Software Assurance Gateway team at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) builds and operates gateway services to ensure the security and integrity of services within our customers' tenancies. As part of OCI, you'll work alongside talented engineers and leaders, shaping the future of cloud security and infrastructure.</p> <p>Basic Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience </li><li>10+ years of software engineering experience including at least 3 years in an engineering management or senior technical leadership role </li><li>Demonstrated experience leading high-performing engineering teams building and operating large-scale, distributed, mission-critical cloud services </li><li>Proven ability to drive both technical depth and breadth in systems design, architecture, and operations </li><li>Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, including experience with executive-level communication </li><li>Demonstrated success with hiring, developing, and retaining engineering talent, including managing managers </li><li>Experience balancing immediate tactical needs with long-term strategic planning </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in public cloud environments (OCI, AWS, Azure, etc.), including hands-on knowledge of cloud networking, infrastructure as code (Terraform, etc.), and cybersecurity </li><li>Experience leading geographically distributed teams and managing multiple product lines or services </li><li>Demonstrated ability to optimize resources and budgets, lead through organizational change, and deliver operational excellence </li><li>Strong understanding of both SQL and NoSQL databases, Linux internals, and container or virtualization technologies </li><li>Prior experience in roadmap planning, organizational modeling, and headcount/resource planning </li></ul> <p>As a world leader in cloud solutions, Oracle uses tomorrow's technology to tackle today's challenges.
