<p>CONCESSION WORKER</p> <p>The Concession Worker position is Seasonal</p> <p>(Mid-April through Mid-September with hiring and training beginning as early as December)</p> <p>The Concession Worker assists with the daily operations of the concession stand. They help to maintain order and enforce rules at the concession stand, while providing quick and excellent customer service. Concession Workers prepare, sell, and serve concession items as well as help with stocking, rotating, and tracking inventory. Concession Workers help maintain safety and cleanliness throughout the park.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>16 years of age or older; or 15 and able to gain a worker's permit</p> <p>Individuals that have current ServSafe Food Handler's Certification, or can gain certification by employment</p> <p>Familiarity with money handling and ability to make change</p> <p>Comfortability with public speaking and ability to hold a conversation</p> <p>Ability yo use a computer and necessary computer programs</p> <p>Preference</p> <p>Familiarity with the use and operation of fryers, ovens, and food and drink preparation</p> <p>Individuals who are team-oriented with positive, can-do attitudes</p> <p>Ability to adapt quickly</p> <p>Bilingual in Spanish.</p> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to walk, run, stand, sit and complete a variety of motor skills </li><li>Ability to walk and/or stand on concrete for the majority of your shift </li><li>Ability to bend to the floor and reach overhead </li><li>Ability to lift and carry 30-70 pounds regularly to chest height </li><li>Ability to hear and see well </li></ul> <p>Mental Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to demonstrate exceptional punctuality and attendance </li><li>Ability to project a positive attitude, manner, and appearance </li><li>Ability to think clearly and respond appropriately in an emergency </li><li>Ability to demonstrate mature judgment and ethical behavior </li><li>Ability to read, write and perform mathematical equations </li><li>Ability to work with limited supervision </li><li>Ability to multitask </li><li>Ability to use knowledge; critical thinking skills; judgment and problem-solving skills to handle situations </li><li>Ability to resolve conflict fairly, safely, and in a timely manner </li></ul> <p>Environmental Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work staggered shift assignments as necessary including evenings, weekends, and holidays </li><li>Ability to work in hot, cold, wet and/or other unpleasant outdoor conditions </li><li>Ability to work in a loud, fast-paced environment </li></ul> <p>Pay Rate</p> <p>This position is $15.00 per hour.</p>
