<p>Job Title: Diet Aide</p> <p>Location: RWJUH Hamilton Hospital</p> <p>Department Name: Dietary-Management</p> <p>Req #: 0000213215</p> <p>Status: Hourly</p> <p>Shift: Evening</p> <p>Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour</p> <p>Pay Transparency:</p> <p>The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.</p> <p>The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.</p> <p>Job Overview:</p> <p>Prepare and deliver quality food for patients, visitors and staff.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>High School Graduate or equivalent preferred </li><li>Food Service experience desirable </li></ul> <p>Scheduling Requirements :</p> <ul> <li>Part -Time Evenings </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>The main functions of the Food Service Worker are the loading, transporting of the food trucks, washing of dishes, removal of garbage and trash, and overall sanitation of the department </li><li>Delivers par stocks to designated floors </li><li>Delivers and picks up all patient food trucks after breakfast, lunch and dinner meal service, </li><li>Transport food trucks with soiled trays from patient floors to dish room </li><li>Returning food carts to designated floors in a timely manner </li><li>Restocking all pellets, plates, bowls and domes </li><li>Soaks, washes, rinses, sanitizes, and stores all pots, pans, and utensils used in food preparation of service, </li><li>Removes all garbage from the department as needed and instructed by supervisor and places clean liners in garbage cans, </li><li>Cleans and sanitizes cans as needed </li><li>Garbage dumpsters are cleaned and sanitized daily </li><li>Sweeps and mops floors in the entire department, including under all equipment and moving any equipment with wheels to ensure proper sanitation of the floor </li></ul> <p>Other Duties:</p> <p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
