Today, we are one of the world's fastest growing insurance organizations, capable of writing in 128 countries on 6 continents.</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>This position will provide support to the underwriting activities for the General Property portfolio.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions</p> <ul> <li>Entering new submissions and updating the Submission register </li><li>Assisting underwriters in renewal preparation including, but not limited to, the preparing of premium & loss exhibits. </li><li>Assisting Underwriters in attaining D&B reports, preparing catastrophe analysis and preparing quotation letters </li><li>Preparing insurance binders and reinsurance layoff sheets in order to book and bill new and renewal accounts. </li><li>Setting up new and renewal account files upon binding accounts </li><li>Preparing policies and endorsements for underwriter review </li><li>Following up on information needed from brokers. </li><li>Maintain reports as required by Underwriters. </li><li>Premium entry and reconciliation </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Risk Management and Insurance, or equivalent work experience </li><li>1 - 2 years of related experience preferred (Insurance Internships will be considered) </li><li>Ideal candidates will have administrative/clerical experience in an underwriting environment. </li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize. </li><li>Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Word </li></ul> <p>NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
