TMH is the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region's only:</p> <ul> <li>Level II Trauma Center </li><li>Primary Stroke Center </li><li>Level III Neonatal Intensive Care </li><li>Pediatric Intensive Care </li><li>The most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. </li></ul> <p>Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, six residency programs and more than 50 affiliated physician practices.</p> <p>HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT</p> <p>Director of Finance & Provider Compensation</p> <p>(Medical Group / Ambulatory Services)</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Director of Finance & Provider Compensation provides financial leadership, analysis, and oversight for a multi-site medical group. This role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and provider compensation analytics, partnering closely with operational, clinical, and human resources teams to support informed decision-making and sustainable performance.</p> <p>This position is well-suited for a strong finance leader ready to step into a broader role; prior healthcare or provider compensation experience is beneficial but not required.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Financial Planning & Analysis</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes for assigned service lines or practices</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and maintain financial models to support growth initiatives, staffing decisions, and operational planning</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis with actionable insights</p> </li><li> <p>Support leaders with clear, data-driven financial information to guide decisions</p> </li></ul> <p>Provider Compensation (Preferred Focus Area)</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support the development, modeling, and ongoing administration of provider compensation plans</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze productivity, incentive, and compensation data to ensure clarity and alignment with organizational goals</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with benchmarking and market comparisons</p> </li><li> <p>Help prepare materials for compensation reviews and committee discussions</p> </li></ul> <p>Reporting & Analytics</p> <ul> <li> <p>Develop and maintain standardized financial and compensation reports and dashboards</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure accuracy and consistency across financial, payroll, and productivity data</p> </li><li> <p>Translate financial information into accessible, practical reporting for operational and clinical partners</p> </li></ul> <p>Collaboration & Process Improvement</p> <ul> <li> <p>Work collaboratively with Operations, HR, Payroll, and Revenue Cycle teams</p> </li><li> <p>Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, and data transparency</p> </li><li> <p>Support compliance with internal policies and applicable compensation guidance</p> </li></ul> <p>Team Leadership</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and development for finance and compensation staff</p> </li><li> <p>Establish clear workflows, documentation, and accountability within the team</p> </li></ul> <p>Reports To:</p> <ul> <li>VP Operations TMH Physician Partners </li></ul> <p>Supervises:</p> <ul> <li>Finance & Physician Comp Manager and Physician Comp Analyst </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Master's of Accounting, Business, Healthcare or related field preferred.
