<ol> <li> <p>Work closely with our Third-Party Administrators (TPA) to ensure all employee claims are processed in accordance with CCHC Policies and Procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor the status of all leaves of absence, disability, and workers' compensation claims.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate and educate employees, managers, and HR staff on leave of absence, disability, and workers' compensation process and programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Update the HR System to ensure accurate leave of absence tracking. Advise the IDM Manager regarding HR systems and potential policy or procedural changes.</p> </li><li> <p>Compile and provide weekly time-sensitive reports to the Payroll Department. These reports identify employees approved for Leave of absence, PFML Supplementing, STD, Workers' Compensation, and Return to Work status of employees.</p> </li><li> <p>Review hours for FMLA compliance to determine the type of leave (FMLA or LOA) to ensure correct coding in the ATSS system. Ensure compliance with Federal and State Regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide assistance to employees, managers, and HR who have questions regarding leave of absence, pay while on leave, and the workers' compensation process.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain primary responsibility for completion of all leave or disability related paperwork.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in departmental projects and offer input for the continuous improvement of HR/Benefit practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Substitute as a resource in the absence of the IDM Manager and the other Integrated Disability Specialist.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in leave of absence webinars/training, process improvement projects, HR system testing, and other required training opportunities.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in department staff meetings.</p> </li><li> <p>Meet with supervisor regularly to establish a plan to develop new skills and competencies through new professional training opportunities and experiences.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as assigned.</p> </li><li> <p>Consistently provide service excellence to all employees, family members, and co-workers in a manner that reflects Cape Cod Healthcare's commitment to CARES: compassion, accountability, respect, excellence, and service.</p> </li></ol> <ul> <li>Leave of Absence, Benefits, or Payroll data entry skills </li><li>Proficient in MS Office Word/Excel </li><li>Knowledge of HR and Leave data management systems and processes. </li><li>General knowledge of Leave of Absence, Workers' Compensation, and Disability Programs </li><li>Ability to communicate with managers and employees regarding Leave of Absence, Workers' Compensation, and disability practices. </li><li>General knowledge of Employee Benefit and Pay Programs </li><li>(Preferred) Two years of relevant experience or educational equivalent </li><li>(Preferred) One year of HR, Benefits, or Payroll experience </li></ul>
