The company provides full-service security solutions for homes and businesses including security officer services, smart home automation, burglar and fire alarms, access control, security cameras, alarm monitoring, investigative services and background checks.</p> <p>Job Skills / Requirements</p> <p>Temporary position with the possibility of permanent employment due to covering a leave of absence.</p> <p>Work Schedule:</p> <p>Saturday - 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Sunday - 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday - 4:00 PM to Midnight Tuesday - 4:00 PM to Midnight</p> <p>32 Hours Per Week at $17.00 Per Hour</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by conducting routine patrols and monitoring facility conditions. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and basic computer skills for reporting.</p> <p>Primary Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Conduct regular walking rounds inside the facility</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor Cameras</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor for and report:</p> </li><li> <p></p> </li><li>Unauthorized persons on the premises <p></p> </li><li> <p>Signs of smoke, fire, or other safety hazards</p> </li><li> <p>Unsecured, damaged, or broken doors and windows</p> </li><li> <p>Any notable facility issues or irregular conditions</p> </li><li> <p>Respond appropriately to observed incidents and follow established procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Accurately complete daily activity reports</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a professional appearance and comply with all site and company policies</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Basic computer skills required (for logging daily activity reports) </li><li>Strong written communication skills required, including legible handwriting and clear, professional wording in daily reports </li><li>Ability to walk and stand for extended periods </li><li>Strong observation, documentation, and communication skills </li><li>Reliable attendance and punctuality </li><li>Ability to work evening shifts </li><li>Prior security experience is a plus but not required (training provided) </li></ul> <p>Licensing & Screening Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation </li><li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a Wisconsin DSPS Private Security Person license </li><li>Licensing eligibility requires no felony convictions, in accordance with Wisconsin DSPS regulations </li><li>Must remain compliant with all state and company licensing requirements throughout employment </li></ul> <p>Certification Requirements (All)Private Security LicenseAdditional Information / BenefitsBenefits: Medical Insurance, Life Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, 401K/403b Plan, Educational Assistance, Special Incentive PlansScreening Requirements: Drug Screen, Criminal Background Check, Finger Printing</p>
