Moran, Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources</p> <p>SUBJECT: Career and Technical Education Program Steering Committee/Program Development CTE TEACHER PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT/STEERING COMMITTEE Position Overview: Funding is available to support CTE educators in maintaining, sustaining, and growing our CTE programs for the 2025-2026 academic year. In this role, educators will review, update, and standardize curriculum to align with current Career and Technical Education (CTE) requirements and MA CTE frameworks. This position also provides dedicated time for program development, program recruitment, and advisory board engagement, empowering you to shape your program's trajectory. Time will also be allocated for attending recruitment events, supporting students after school on CTE skill development, and planning integration activities. Positions are available through FC 400 and FC 419. Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>BHS Faculty Member </li><li>Familiarity with national and state CTE frameworks </li><li>Experience with Vocational and Career & Technical Education curriculum formats </li><li>Understanding of the Carl D. Perkins Act and Chapter 74 Program requirements </li><li>Willingness to engage with community and business partners </li><li>Ability to attend relevant community, industry, and local CTE events </li><li>Willingness to present findings and make recommendations for program improvement Duties and Responsibilities: </li><li>Attend regularly scheduled after-school meetings </li><li>Participate in CTE Advisory Board meetings </li><li>Represent the program at recruitment events </li><li>Review and update curriculum in standardized format to meet DESE requirements </li><li>Analyze program offerings against current trends and job outlook to identify viable career pathways, including certifications, Dual Enrollment, internships, and employment opportunities </li><li>Complete assigned work to advance the overall CTE agenda </li><li>Work must be completed by June 30th, 2026. </li><li>COMPENSATION: ?Contractual Rate </li><li>FUNDING SOURCE: ?Grant Funded (FC 400 and 0419 ) </li><li>NOT TO EXCEED 25 HOURS PER TEACHER </li></ul>
