This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with variable shifts scheduled between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide a visible and reassuring security presence on school campuses. </li><li>Monitor entrances, hallways, and common areas to deter unauthorized activity. </li><li>Assist in conflict resolution and de-escalation when necessary. </li><li>Patrol school grounds to ensure safety protocols are followed. </li><li>Respond to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances in a calm and professional manner. </li><li>Work collaboratively with school administrators and local law enforcement when needed. </li><li>Flex between various school sites as assigned; flexibility in daily location is required. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 21 years old. </li><li>High school diploma or GED required. </li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain all required certifications and clearances, including PERC card, 20-hour training, background checks and fingerprinting. </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with students and school personnel. </li><li>Must be flexible and adaptable to different school environments and varying shift start/end times between 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM. </li></ul> <p>Job Highlights:</p> <ul> <li>Guaranteed 40 hours per week </li><li>Consistent Monday-Friday schedule </li><li>No evenings or weekends required </li></ul> <p>IL #122-001049</p> <p>IL #123.000460</p> <p>Education Requirements (All)</p> <p>HS Diploma</p> <p>GED or H.S.
