<p>Columbia Heights Stormwater Specialist - Sr. Engineering Technician</p> <p>This is an intermediate-to-advanced paraprofessional civil engineering position requiring field and office work. Involves technical and complex work in design, plan preparation, and construction inspection of municipal projects. Performs technical and administrative duties associated with the Stormwater Management Plan, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit and Compliance, and other surface water quality related studies/plans. </p> <p>Required:</p> <p>A combination of training/experience equivalent to the following:</p> <ul> <li>Two-years of college or technical courses in mathematics, drafting, land surveying, engineering, or equivalent. </li><li>Three-years of municipal design, drafting and inspection experience with one year of additional training/experience in stormwater management.  </li><li>One-year experience using of computer drafting.  </li><li>One-year public contact work experience. </li><li>MnDOT certification for Design of Construction SWPPP, Erosion/Sediment Control Inspector/Installer, Aggregate Production, Grading and Base, Bituminous Street, and Concrete Field or ability to obtain within one year. </li><li>Valid driver's license.  </li></ul> <p>For full job description, requirements, and application, visit </p> <p>https://www.governmentjobs.com/careers/columbiaheightsmn</p>
