Our team is looking for qualified candidates to help us as we grow and take on new challenges.</p> <p>SUMMARY</p> <p>The Military Painter is able to apply primer paints and military paints to pretreated, cleaned, and masked parts.</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Apply military paints and primer to parts with power spray equipment and brushes. </li><li>Mask, unmask or adjust masking as necessary to ensure specifications are met. </li><li>Complete required paperwork associated with the position </li><li>Maintain and clean application equipment, paint booths and paint kitchens. </li><li>Assist production when painting is not required </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively </li><li>Ability to follow basic work instructions </li><li>Organizational skills and attention to details </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED SKILLS (or we will train)</p> <ul> <li>Read a job traveler </li><li>Read a Blueprint </li><li>Operate forklift, pallet jack, or crane </li><li>Look up expired material </li><li>Look up and understand Work Instructions </li><li>Package and Carton according to WI474A and WI474B </li><li>Perform Water break testing according to WI069 </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT</p> <ul> <li>Safety Glasses, Prescription Safety Glasses with Side Shields, OTG Glasses </li><li>Paint hoods / suits </li><li>Safety-toed Shoes </li><li>Gloves </li></ul>
