Pass the Required Expanded Criminal History Check and Expanded CPS Check</p> <p>Primary Function:</p> <p>To assist students in various settings.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <p>? Assist Special Education students in both the general education and special education setting, as</p> <p>directed by the student's IEP and Teacher of Record.</p> <p>? Serve as a liaison between the Teacher of Record and the General Education Teacher to ensure the</p> <p>student's IEP is being implemented across settings.</p> <p>? Work as a one-on-one assistant for a student, assisting with the student's academic and physical</p> <p>needs.</p> <p>? Encourages students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.</p> <p>? Assesses the accomplishments of students regularly and provides progress reports as required.</p> <p>? Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and</p> <p>facilities.</p> <p>? Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and</p> <p>administrative regulation.</p> <p>? Strives to maintain and improve professional competence by completing required training hours and</p> <p>courses.</p> <p>?
